Sega's first attempt to dive back into the "classic" era had some wacky results, and the soundtrack, filled even filled with "Genesis style drums," is no different.

This song has enough energy and tension that you can forget all about the horrendous game you are playing.

While it's not the worst, it's defiantly not a good representation of the Sonic franchise. It's a harsh blend of different qualities with tracks that have an out-of-place, overly "happy" mood that, like the rest of the game, try to replicate the essence of the 90s hits without success.
