Summary

Sonic Riders set to create a cooler, better addition to the Sonic racing genre. It's high-energy, electronic-influenced soundtrack helped make the settings and gameplay futuristic and speedy. 

Best Song: Digital Dimension

Runner-Up (s): Sand Ruins, Egg Factory, Babylon Garden

Riders is full of intense jams that really build the fun tone of the game. Digital Dimension does that while also going more intense with its techno. It manages add effects that complement the hell-ish setting while transitioning into a more heroic part for the heavenly side. 

Worst Song: The Real Treasure

Runner Up (s): Legend of Babylon, Start Up Your EX Gear

Some cutscene music that feels a bit slower and out of place. 

Best Vocal Song: Sonic Speed Riders

Runner-Up (s): Catch Me If You Can (Rockin' Beats Mix)

"Sonic Speed Riders" is epic and fits not only Sonic Riders but Sonic himself perfectly with it's energy and cocky yet determined lyrics. 

Worst Vocal Song: Sonic Speed Riders (Electro Express Mix)

Runner Up (s): Catch Me If You Can

This robotic, electronic song isn't really bad. It has a neat, remix-y tones. But it sounds like someone speaking through a walkie talkie compared to the original. 

Final Ranking: A

I was really, really tempted to give this an S rank. None of the tracks were really bad. Its weakest songs are still pretty strong, and overall it's a really satisfying complication. There's just something (I'm not sure what) missing. Mainly in tracks like "Start Up Your EX Gear" and "High Flying Groove."
