Summary
The music of the first Dash game mostly reuses music from Sonic Generations and other games. The main menu while given new life is really Blue Sky Zone from Sonic Jump. There is another remix, but overall much of the music is old.
Surprising Dash 2, based on Sonic Boom, seems more original. Unless it reuses from Fire/Ice, which I have not listened to yet, it seems pretty different than the other Boom Titles. More refreshing.
There were a few other versions, but I believe they reuse the same levels/music.
Best Song: Jungle Level Music (D2)
Runner-Up (s): Main Menu (D2)
From what I can tell this is the main music for all the levels? It is a great example of sounding more on the modern side but still having those edgy Sonic-y elements.
Worst Song: Seaside Hill Remix (D1)
Runner Up (s): Main Menu (D1)
I'm really sick of Seaside Hill. It's one of those levels that are completely exhaustible. Unlike the above example, this song is overly 2010s and strips away what made the original song tolerable.
Final Ranking Sonic Dash: E
There are only a few new songs and they kind of suck.
Final Ranking Sonic Dash 2: D
I like the few songs in this a lot better than the first game, which was a surprise with it being Boom. Still, there's only a few songs and not much to it.
